Offline, with a branch server
The whole store keeps working on the local network: sales, shifts, tables and kitchen. The branch server keeps everything and uploads it when the connection returns. With several branches, anything that touches another one, like returns or gift cards, waits.
Offline, without a branch server
Each desktop register keeps billing with its saved catalog. Sales queue up with their own numbers and upload on their own when it's back. Tables, kitchen and other shared operations wait for the connection.
Straight talk: if the branch server goes down, its registers wait for it to come back. That's on purpose, so there are no duplicate sales or mismatched inventory. Offline mode belongs to the desktop POS; the web POS needs a connection.

Does it really keep selling without internet?
Yes, and here's how. With a branch server, the whole store keeps working on the local network, tables and kitchen included. Without one, each desktop register keeps billing with its saved catalog and uploads sales when the connection returns; tables, kitchen and other shared operations wait. The web POS does need internet.
What happens if the branch server goes down?
That branch's registers wait for it to come back and resume as soon as it responds. They don't switch to the cloud on their own, on purpose: that way there are no duplicate sales or repeated invoice numbers.
Do I need a branch server?
We recommend one if you have several registers in the same store, or a restaurant with tables and a kitchen. With one or two registers, the desktop POS is usually enough. We'll tell you what fits during the demo.
How much does it cost?
We prepare a custom quote based on the plan (Basic, Pro or Enterprise), your registers, your branches and the hardware you need. There's no fixed public price because every business starts differently.
What computers do I need?
The desktop POS and the branch server run on Windows 10 or 11. The back office runs in the browser, on a computer or a phone.
Can I bring my data from RMS or Excel?
Yes. From Microsoft Dynamics RMS we move products, customers with their balances, suppliers, stock, prices and sales history, after a dry run that doesn't touch your system. From Excel or CSV we import products, customers and purchase orders.
Does it handle sales tax and PAN/EBT correctly?
Yes. State and municipal sales tax (IVU) are calculated separately on every sale. With PAN/EBT, the sale can be split with card and cash, and only the part paid with EBT is tax-exempt.
Does it take ATH?
Yes, as a payment type: the cashier records it with its reference number, just like cash, card or check, and it can be part of a split payment.
