How we presented WMSPos and Nova

In October we officially presented WMSPos, the system we built so a business can run inventory, point of sale, dispatch and finances on one platform. Here's how it went.

We didn't want a slide talk

We wanted people to see WMSPos actually working. So we built the presentation topic by topic: on screen we showed each part of the system in action, in short pieces of about a minute, and after each one our CEO, Leonardo Ángeles, explained how it's used in a business's day-to-day and took questions from the audience before moving on to the next.

That turned the presentation into a conversation, and that was the best part of the night.

What we showed

We followed the same path merchandise takes through a business:

• Nova, our AI assistant. Ask it how much you sold, who owes you or what's running low, and it answers right away with your business's real data. It only reads: it never changes anything.
• When the merchandise arrives. The supplier's invoice in PDF or Excel becomes a purchase order in seconds.
• Prices that protect your margin. Price lists, promotions, loyalty and label design.
• Sell everywhere. The advanced point of sale, the self-service kiosk, the online store and the customer portal.
• Paperless cash-out. From the register, on a single screen: live cash-out without printing anything, every transaction of the shift by type or by cashier, the cash in the drawer and the history of closings.
• Branches and dispatch. Locations per branch and deliveries to the customer's door.
• Control of the business. Real-time dashboard, reports, finances, budgets and your team.
• Getting started is easy. If you already use another system (Retail Management Hero, SAP Business One, Epicor or another), we bring your data over and you don't start from scratch.
